Warranty Policy

Limited Warranty Policy (Other than Indian subcontinent)

(for All products – Butyl inner tubes, Flaps & solid tyres)

All products sold by Rubber King Tyre Private Limited, hereinafter known as the Manufacturer, shall be delivered free from defects in workmanship and material.

The Manufacturer has the right to change its product specifications at any time at its own option.

The Manufacturer further warrants that all product(s) sold by it, meet or exceed the specifications and regulations regarding technical performance and industrial safety in force in the country of origin at the time of order acceptance. The Manufacturer’s limited warranty does not apply where the product(s) sold by the Manufacturer are not properly installed, used or serviced.

In the event of a claim by the original buyer or first user of the product(s) for alleged breach of the above Limited Warranty, the Manufacturer will, as its option, repair or replace the product(s) sold under following conditions.

The Manufacturer must receive written notice of the claim, stating full details and particulars(usage, application, installation, date and conditions of use at time of failure, date and number of invoice covering the product(s) under claim etc.) within 90(ninety) calendar days from date of first application or usage, or 365(Three sixty five) calendar days from date of the Manufacturer’s covering invoice, whichever period is the longest. The product(s) will be held available for inspection by Rubber King or its representative for a period not exceeding 90 (ninety) calendar days from the date of the first claim.

If not inspected by Manufacturer or it authorized representative within that period, the claim shall be deemed as accepted and will be settled as per the terms of this Limited warranty. The user may dispose of the product(s) as he sees fit.

The Manufacturer shall be limited to replace the product(s) under claim, but not inspected on an ex-factory value basis; upon inspection by the Manufacturer of product(s) under claim, a decision will be made regarding settlement of the claim, or the return of the product(s) to the Manufacturer’s plant for inspection, repair or replacement. Return of the product(s) to the Manufacturer’s plant shall be at user’s expense.

Replacement by new product(s) or repair or the damaged product(s) shall be at the expense of the Manufacturer, on a CIF port of entry in country of destination basis.

The Manufacturer makes no other warranties, expressed or implied, with respect to the product(s) it sells. The Manufacturer’s liability under this limited warranty is limited exclusively to the action and or values outlined above. Under no conditions is the Manufacturer liable for any damages to person(s) or property, as the user will be responsible to the adequate liability insurance to cover such events.

No person, dealer, agent or representative or officer of Rubber King Tyre Private Limited is empowered to change, adapt or modify this limited warranty.

Solid Tyre Limited Warranty Policy (For Indian subcontinent only)

Rubber King Tyre Private Limited warrants, subject to the terms, conditions and limitations stated herein, its Solid Tyres to be free from defects in materials and workmanship.

Rubber King has the right to change its product specifications at any time at its own option.

1.   This Limited warranty applies only to the original buyer or first user of the product(s) for one year from the date of purchase.

2.   Rubber King’s Limited Warranty does not apply where the tyre(s) sold by Rubber King are not properly installed, used or serviced as recommended by Rubber King as Tyre Manufacturer, recommendations of Original Equipment manufacturer, Laws/Rules/Regulations of the Land or any other related statutory governing bodies, institutions and associations.

3. In the event of a claim by the original buyer or first user of the Tyre for alleged breach of the above Limited Warranty, Rubber King will, as it option, repair or replace the tyre sold under following conditions.

4.   Solid Tyres in general are recommended by ETRTO and other equivalent standards for intermittently used in Industrial application vehicles with speed restrictions of less then 25 KMPH and maximum distance coverage of < 2 KM at a stretch to run on laid surface conditions. Solid Tyres cannot be used for climbing slopes or gradients exceeding 5 degrees. Solid Tyre temperature should be monitored to be less then 60 degrees. If it exceeds 60 degrees, then the tyre must be allowed to cool down to room temperature before further use. Non fulfillment of the above conditions will naturally vitiate or cancel our warranty admissibility.

5.  Rubber king makes no explicit or implicit claim on the wear aspect of the tyre as it is influenced by diversified factors that includes primarily the application, speed, load, driving practice, equipment condition, surface condition and work environment.

6.  Rubber King must receive written notice of the claims, stating full details and particulars(usage, application, installation, date and conditions of use at time of failure, date and number of invoice covering the product(s) under claim, etc.) within 90(ninety) calendar days from date of first application or usage, or 365(Three sixty five) calendar days from date of purchase, whichever period is the longest.

7.  Clear pictures and serial number of the failed tyre(s) are mandatory for considering the claim.

8. The tyre(s) will be held available for inspection by Rubber King or its representative for a period not exceeding 90 (ninety) calendar days from the date of the first claim.

9. If not inspected by Rubber King or it authorized representative within that period, the claim shall be deemed as accepted and will be settled as per the terms of this Limited warranty. The user may dispose of the tyre(s) as he sees fit.

10.  If there is any manufacturing defect, the tyre would fail within 7 working days. In such situation, Rubber King (RK) will provide free replacement of tyre on ex- RK works basis.

11. Any Solid Tyre that becomes unserviceable due to defects in materials or workmanship, shall be replaced by another comparable new Rubber King tyre on a pro-rata basis based on tread wear or the no. of hours used as evidence by log book.

12. Tyre which prematurely fails due to material or manufacturing defects upon our examination and analysis, Rubber King will provide replacement with an equivalent version from Rubber King range on a pro-rata basis on tread wear. Rubber King reserves the rights to inspect the claim tyre before making decision on the claim. The cost of transportation, service and taxes for replacement tyre will be borne by the purchaser.

13. Rubber King makes no other warranties, expressed or implied, with respect to the product(s) it sells. Rubber King’s liability under this limited warranty is limited exclusively to the action and or values outlined above. Under no conditions Rubber King is liable for any damages to person(s) or property, as the user will be responsible to the adequate liability insurance to cover such events.

14. Complaints on account of any one or combination of the following factors are also classified as Non – Warrantable failures and to be considered as exclusion to this warranty policy

  • Improper storage
  • Improper fitment
  • Impact load
  • Sizes of tyre and rim not correspond to each other
  • Usage of wrong rims not complying with T&RA, ETRTO standards
  • Usage of damaged, rusty, undersized or oversized wheel rims
  • Exposure to un-laid, broken, damaged surface condition
  • Exposure to work place environment that could possibly damage or deteriorate the product
  • Faulty brakes & hub-wheel misalignment in equipment
  • Alteration and repair to the original product
  • Cosmetic blemishes and aesthetic defects in the tyres

15. No person, dealer, agent or representative or officer of Rubber King corporation is empowered to change, adapt or modify this limited warranty.

Tube Limited Warranty Policy (For Indian subcontinent only)

Rubber King Tyre Private Limited warrants, subject to the terms, conditions and limitations stated herein, its Inner Tubes to be free from defects in materials and workmanship.

Rubber King has the right to change its product specifications at any time at its own option.

  1. Inner Tubes storage period should not exceed 1 year from the date/month of manufacture under standard storage condition.
  2. Warranty of the Inner Tubes/Flaps stands void if the tube/flap is not stored properly, punctured by external objects, damaged by external object or tyre carcass, run flat movement.
  3. Tube claims from field must not be more than 2 years from the date/month of manufacturing for manufacturing related defects like splice open, valve base lifting, foreign matter in tube body etc. 
  4. Clear pictures and month code of the failed product(s) are mandatory for considering the claim. The claim if found to be valid , may be adjusted during next lot of order.
  5. Manufacturing defects must be verified with plant technical team by pictures, samples or physical joint inspection as mutually agreed.
